Quick Hits....

Good Day Everyone,

Welcome again to everyone on our collective pursuit for truth and knowledge. The blog has been eerily quiet as we eagerly anticipate the ruling from the Supreme Court. But I just have one question:

WHAT THE HELL IS TAKING SO LONG!!!!!

The court has had the appeal for almost a week now and you would think this was a done deal.

Is a deal in the making? Will they agree with the Mayor or are they just slow? My "moles" have told me nothing so we wait VERY impatiently. (Can you tell that I'm just a wee bit agitated?)
And I'm not the only one - Detroit is also on edge waiting for the you know what to hit the fan. We all just want resolution.
KE is leaving for the Big Easy - New Orleans for a week so I'll be chiming in remotely. Just my luck to be out of town when the news drops. If this delay continues then I just may issue some remarks on the Presidential Campaign to bide time but until then be safe and keep your ears open.

I think that a lot of us are finding it dificult to have much faith in our state government-even the Supreme Court. Is it possible for Kwame or his *people* to influence them? Would the Supreme Court weigh the political ramifications as well as the legal aspects of the situation?

Relax. The inner circle is slowing getting chopped down one by one by one. Brenda Braceful (dep. corp. counsel) - GONE. Matt Allen (chief pussy, I mean spokesman) - GONE. Several others are on the short list now. Kym Worthy is on it. Take out the minor players and eventually you get to Fat Boy. Why else would she want the Brown/Nelthrope trial testimony for Mike Martin (kwame's lead bodyguard) unless . . . . .

Also, don't forget - if the Supremes throw this one, Fieger is all over it. He is looking for a reason to attack them and use it in his own case. No, Kwame is a liabiity for republicans, too. They just want to make sure they take him out nice and proper.

Is it just me, but doesn't the mayor seem to be 'pimping' the community lately--specifically within the past week? He's treating us like the pimp that's been beating one of his 'girls' & when she threatens to leave, he apologizes and starts acting like he really cares about her. Please!!

Really, when was the last time he actually ventured out into the community to personally 'press the flesh' with the residents of Detroit? And don't get me started about his addressing the Council the other day! When did he figure out that we needed more police? Or should I say, when did he start to care? How dumb does this man think we are?

I wish that the Supreme Court would just make a decision already. I am sooo sick of watching this man play mayor and continue to bamboozle the citizens and taxpayers of Detroit.

Recently I learned that both Kwame and his mother are superdelegates. If he is in the middle of a perjury (or worse) trial, would that affect his standing as a superdelegate?
You did say that if this goes on much longer that you would start discussing politics, so I thought I'd ask! I also read that both Kwame and his mother are supporting Hillary.

People outside of Detroit actually see Kilpatrick for what he is!! See:

"SHAME OF A NATION - THE KWAME KILPATRICK STORY" by Lerone D. Wilson

Are you listening KK devotees?? (I KNOW you're lurking out there!)

To address all the comments -
let's hope and pray that Kwame doesn't have any influence on the judges. I think that the case is too big and has too many ramifications.

Yep, Kwames been pimping Detroit since day one. Is he a bad person or has he just taken advantage of Detroiters insecurities about race and class? Please visit my earlier post in January that discuss in detail this issue.

Kwame and his Mom as Superdelegates? - The list I've found shows otherwise. Please visit http://www.nytimes.com/ref/us/politics/20080217_SUPERDELEGATES_GRAPHIC.html

for additional information. I "think" that his mom supports Hillary but have no info on Kwame. Doesn't matter anyway as Barack won't be 200 feet close to him when he campaigns in Detroit later this year.

Thanks for the link! I will check it out.

michigan lost all of its elected and super delegates thanks to Debbie Dingell, Gov. Granholm and Mark Brewster so no worries about Kwame and Momma (who are supporting Hillary). The democrats are not going to seat the michigan delegation or they will have a real fight on their hands. Rules are rules.

Thanks Kwame,

Someone mentioned that to me last night and I must have been brain dead when I made the response. You are correct - there will be hell to pay if they seat those delegates. My political post will start next week after the debates or I might wait until after they vote in Texas and Ohio....

Boys and Girls,

it is all over: http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080226/METRO/802260360

Kwame forced a "high tech" policy on city employees in the first term. And despite Sharon "Waste of Oxygen" McFailure's insistence that this policy may not be authentic (read the story), this shit is coming in - all apologists on deck. All apologists on deck. Make sure you pick up your commerative copies of the news and freep. PIMP DOWN.

now kwame is trying to say there is nothing important in the documents released today. However, why did channel wxyz (www.wxyz.com) show fat boy leaving a "law office" in Southfield (really it was the Towne center in Sfld and that's where Bill Mitchell's (his criminal attorney) offices are. Kwame, if no big deal, why are you meeting with your lawyer? WHy did Kym Worthy depose city council president Ken Cockrel, Jr. Why o why don't you just fucking leave?
